Names of New Milford veterans sought for memorials
Any New Milford resident or relative of a resident who served in World War II or the Korean War is encouraged to submit the name of the veteran to the Mayor’s office to be included on the memorials in Town Hall.
Mayor David Gronbach issued the request this week after recently learning a number of people who served during those wars weren’t listed on the memorials.
People are asked to provide the name, war and if that person was killed in action. The information can be emailed to Mayor@newmilford.org or given over the phone by calling the Mayor’s office at 860-355-6010.
