Brunswick tennis team sweeps St. Luke’s
Brunswick School evened its record to 2-2 by sweeping St. Luke’s School in an FAA tennis match on Wednesday. The match was the host Bruins’ FAA-opener.
At first singles, Brunswick’s Evan Lee won a marathon match against Jack Truwit. Lee posted a 6-1, 6-7 (15-17), 10-2 win in the most competitive match of the day. Second single saw Ryan Glanville register a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Ryan Manocharian.
Tyler Carney won his match at third singles for Brunswick, topping Max Lehnert, 6-2, 6-2. Aidan Reilly was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at fourth singles for the Bruins. In doubles play, Hayden Hoover/Nick Saah took a 6-2, 6-2 decision from Porter Bowman/Brian Peck at the top spot.
Clark Davis/William McKinnon were victorious at second doubles against Mitchell Mount/Zach Amendola, 6-3, 6-0. At third doubles, Peter Lehrman/Christian Van den Born of the Bruins swept to a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Brunswick hosts King on Thursday.
