According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
An Aiken man reported Wednesday someone stole prescription medication from his bedroom at his Joyner Pond Road home.
Deputies charged a Columbia man Wednesday with possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop for blue lights and driving under suspension after being chased by police from Belvedere-Clearwater Road in North Augusta to a gas station off Jefferson Davis Highway. Investigators found the suspect laying in the woods.
A Graniteville woman called police Wednesday claiming someone stole her two puppies from a fenced in area of her Rainbow Falls Road residence.
A North Augusta woman reported Wednesday a man assaulted her by attempting to strangle her during an altercation at her Samuels Street home.
An Aiken woman called police Wednesday claiming someone entered her Valley Drive residence and went through boxes and cabinets.
According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
An Aiken man was charged with simple possession of marijuana Wednesday after officers found a bag of it in his pocket during a search at a Richland Avenue motel. Officers were searching the man after an anonymous person reported seeing the man with a gun. However, no gun was found.
Officers charged three high school students Wednesday with assault and battery and disorderly conduct after getting into a fight during school hours on East Pine Log Road.
An Aiken man was charged with failure to comply Wednesday after his girlfriend called police claiming he had assaulted her at their York Street apartment. The suspect showed up to the apartment and then started to run when police told him to sit down.
