Health Tip: Sleeping When You’re Pregnant

(HealthDay News) -- Sleep eludes many women during pregnancy for a variety of reasons.

To help fight insomnia during pregnancy, the National Sleep Foundation suggests:

Relax in a warm bath, get a massage from your partner, or write in a journal to help calm worries about your baby.Avoid large, spicy and greasy meals close to bedtime.Drink lots of fluids, but do so earlier in the day and limit fluids close to bedtime.Sleep with extra pillows. Try resting on your left side to help you get comfortable.
