Shred event set April 21 in Beaver Dam

BEAVER DAM -- Tyjeski Family Chiropractic will hold a “Shred and Serve” event Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m.-noon at the food pantry in Beaver Dam, 134 S. Spring St.

The public can bring their confidential documents to be shredded. There is no charge for the shredding, but participants are asked to bring a donation of either cash or nonperishable foods for the pantry.

Acceptable items for shredding include white/colored paper, light-colored or manila envelopes and window envelopes. Staples, paper clips and office tape do not have to be removed.

Items not accepted include boxed and corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans, books, magazines and hanging folders. It is requested a person limit their items to five boxes.
