Police contacted a man in the area who met the description and was identified as 28-year-old Chad K. Street.

Gage County Court documents state Street had both hands in his pockets and was asked to remove them. When he did, a prescription pill bottle was seen in one of the pockets.

After talking to Street, the bottle was recovered and had the label torn off.

The container had 15 pills of Alprazolam .5 mg, 12 Alprazolam 1 mg and three Alprazolam 2 mg.

Street said the pills did not belong to him. In the same bottle was a baggie with a white crystal substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.

While searching Street a knife was found in the waistband of his pants. The knife had a blade that was 4 1/4 inches long.

Street was placed under arrest for two counts possession of a controlled substance and carrying a concealed weapon. His bond was set at $7,500 with a 10 percent deposit. Street’s next hearing is set for Nov. 20.
