Baraboo man arrested in Reedsburg for 3rd offense OWI, meth possession

A Baraboo man was arrested the morning of Nov. 5 after police say he had been driving under the influence and had possession of meth in his vehicle.

Officers arrested John F. Brilliott, 53, for possession of meth and driving under the influence near the intersection of Oak Street and East Main Street in Reedsburg. A K9 dog with the department was deployed and indicated on the vehicle where officers searched and found 15.8 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle. According to a press release from the Reedsburg Police Department, Brilliott admitted to smoking methamphetamine and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. It is his third offense OWI.

His passenger, 28-year-old Jack Daniel Dvorak of Dalton, was also arrested for an active warrant through the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department.

Brilliott and Dvorak were transported to the Sauk County Jail.
