Disturbance at Target ends in man’s arrest, Madison police say
A man causing a disturbance by yelling and knocking things over at a West Side Target store was arrested Wednesday night.
Benjamin Blunt, 29, was taking into custody on tentative charges of disorderly conduct, Madison police said.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Target store at 750 Hilldale Way, near Hilldale Shopping Center.
Officers went to the store after security officers asked Blunt to leave and he threatened to shoot them.
“Numerous Target employees were very fearful for everyone’s safety, based on the suspect’s behavior and threats,” the police report said.
Nobody was injured.
