Norfolk woman arrested after a disturbance call
NORFOLK - A Norfolk woman was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday night.
According to Captain Don Miller, Norfolk Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2300 block of Skyline Avenue for a disturbance.
When officers arrived, they had contact with a female resident outside of the residence that described that there was a verbal argument involving three individuals.
Officers accompanied the female inside the house and had contact with 32-year-old Ashley Jessen.
A resident of the home, along with an officer, went into a room where Jessen had been sleeping, and while in the room, a glass pipe with residue was discovered.
The pipe tested positive for methamphetamine.
Jessen was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. In a further search, officers also recovered a clear glass jar with 17 Tramadol prescription pills.
Jessen did not have a prescription of these pills. She was then arrested on a second count of possession of a controlled substance.
She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
