Agilon: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Agilon Health Inc. (AGL) on Thursday reported a loss of $20.6 million in its second quarter.
The Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 4 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 2 cents per share.
The senior-focused health care company posted revenue of $670.1 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $648.7 million.
Agilon shares have dropped 5.5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $25.52, a decline of 34% in the last 12 months.
