Tucson police: Woman, 2 others found dead in home were shot
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A woman, a young man and a 14-year-old boy found dead in a Tucson home had been shot, police said Friday.
No motive was immediately determined in but but “it appears that the shooting was an isolated incident and that the residence may have been targeted,” police said in a statement.
The victims were identified by police as Willona Ametrice White, 44; Jaiden White, 14, and Talmadge Holmes Jr., 18.
Detectives believe all three victims resided in the home, police said.
According to police, a person went to the home Thursday morning and and found two of victims after entering when no one answered the door.
The visitor called 911 to report a medical emergency and responding Fire Department personnel determined that the two victims had gunshot wounds, police said.
Officers then went to the home and found the dead woman, police said.
