Theola M. Jurgens

Theola M. Jurgens, 73 years of age, of Lincoln, passed away at the Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln Tuesday evening, September 25, 2018. She was born on February 7, 1945 in Beatrice to Henry T. and Lilly (Buss) Jurgens. Theola was a 1963 graduate of Filley High School.

Survivors include two sons Bryan Philippi of Filley and Lynn Philippi of Texas; sister Adeline Newth of Littleton, Colo.; niece Jolene Duncan and husband Doug of Colorado; nephew Jerry Newth and wife Mary Sue of Holdrege; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice. Burial at Evergreen Home Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour preceding the service on Monday. A memorial has been established to the family’s choice with the funeral home in charge.
