Norris will also play in a district final despite losing to Seward in Tuesday’s subdistrict championship game. They’ve earned the No. 7 seed in Class B, so they will host 10th-seeded Hastings at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The winner of that will advance to the Class B State Tournament.

Three other Sunland teams reached district championship matches on Saturday.

In Class C2, Freeman earned the No. 10 seed and they will play seventh-seeded Doniphan-Trumbull. That game will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday and will be hosted by Cross County High School. The winner of that will advance to state.
