Beatrice youth head back to school

It was a rainy morning in Beatrice. Much like the rain - which can be a welcome gift for some and a bother for others - Wednesday marked the first day of school for students at Beatrice Public Schools.

And while many youth looked excited for the first day of school and a chance to reunite with their friends and teachers - other students appeared to be less than thrilled.

All BPS schools began classes on Wednesday other than Paddock Lane, which will delay opening until Monday due to construction projects.
