Brazil president’s approval rating slips still further
SAO PAULO (AP) — A newly published poll seems to test the limits of political unpopularity in Brazil.
The survey by the Datafolha polling institute shows just 7 percent of those questioned approved of President Michel Temer’s administration. That’s down from 9 percent in April.
Sixty-nine percent of those polled said Temer’s performance has been either bad or terrible. Another 23 percent called it average.
The poll published Saturday surveyed 2,771 voters between June 21 and June 23. The margin of error is 2 percentage points.
