Fire threat prompts BLM to temporarily close area in Santa Fe County

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management, citing fire risk, said Thursday it has closed to the public its land in the San Pedro Mountains in southern Santa Fe County.

The closure order is to remain in effect until July 29 or until the area receives significant moisture, the BLM said.
