Norwalk police investigating burglary from May 21

NORWALK — The Norwalk police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Jesus Deli and Grocery early last Sunday morning, according to a press release from Lt. Terrence Blake.

The burglary occurred around 12:36 a.m. on May 21, the press release said. Police have not indicated what was taken by the suspects at this time.

One witness described the suspects as two males between 20- and 30-years-old, according to the press release.

The witness told police one suspect was wearing a white Nike hat and a green Boston Celtics jacket.

The other suspect, the witness told police, was wearing a hat, a hooded sweatshirt, shorts and black sneakers. The witness said he had tattoos covering both arms. It is believed that he may have been injured on his left wrist during the incident, the press release said.
