Oxford Industries: Fiscal Q4 Earnings Snapshot

ATLANTA (AP) _ Oxford Industries Inc. (OXM) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $25.4 million.

The Atlanta-based company said it had net income of $1.50 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.68 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.36 per share.

The owner of the Tommy Bahama, Lilly Pulitzer and Southern Tide clothing lines posted revenue of $299.9 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $295.1 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $131.3 million, or $7.78 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.14 billion.

For the current quarter ending in May, Oxford Industries expects its per-share earnings to range from $2.65 to $2.90. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had forecast adjusted earnings per share of $1.88.


The company said it expects revenue in the range of $315 million to $335 million for the fiscal first quarter. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $271.6 million.

Oxford Industries expects full-year earnings in the range of $8.75 to $9.15 per share, with revenue ranging from $1.25 billion to $1.29 billion.
