CHRISTIANSTED, Virgin Islands (AP) _ Altisource Asset Management Corp. (AAMC) on Friday reported a first-quarter loss of $3.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Christiansted, Virgin Islands-based company said it had a loss of 66 cents per share.

Altisource shares have dropped 40% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 40% in the last 12 months.
