NORWALK, Conn. (AP) _ Emcor Group Inc. (EME) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $101.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Norwalk, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of $1.89.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.92 per share.

The construction and maintenance company posted revenue of $2.64 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $383.5 million, or $7.06 per share. Revenue was reported as $9.9 billion.
