Weatherford: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

HOUSTON (AP) _ Weatherford International Inc. (WFRD) on Wednesday reported a loss of $80 million in its first quarter.

The Houston-based company said it had a loss of $1.14 per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 59 cents per share.

The oilfield service company posted revenue of $938 million in the period.
