Teleflex: Q1 Earnings Snapshot
WAYNE, Pa. (AP) _ Teleflex Inc. (TFX) on Thursday reported first-quarter profit of $77.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the Wayne, Pennsylvania-based company said it had net income of $1.63. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, came to $2.88 per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.73 per share.
The medical equipment maker posted revenue of $641.7 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $631.8 million.
Teleflex expects full-year earnings in the range of $13.70 to $14.30 per share.
