On a per-share basis, the Buford, Georgia-based company said it had net income of $2.54.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.09 per share.

The company posted revenue of $442.1 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $409.3 million.

OneWater Marine expects full-year earnings to be $8.60 to $9 per share.
