Turtle Beach: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) _ Turtle Beach Corp (HEAR) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $6.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The White Plains, New York-based company said it had a loss of 40 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 39 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 49 cents per share.

The audio technology company posted revenue of $46.7 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $41.6 million.

Turtle Beach expects full-year earnings to be 70 cents to $1.20 per share.
