Government
Monday: Federal, state, county and city offices and courts closed.
Monday: No collections or deliveries of regular mail; all Postal Service offices and branches closed; some Priority Express mail delivered.
Transit
Monday: Local bus service and MetroRail operate on Sunday schedule; no Park & Ride routes; all HOV/HOT lanes along Interstate 45, Interstate 69 Southwest and U.S. 290 closed.
Garbage
Monday: No garbage or recycling collections; all Solid Waste Management Dept. facilities, neighborhood depositories and Westpark Recycling Center closed.
Tuesday: Monday’s garbage, B-week curbside recycling, yard waste, first Monday and first Tuesday’s tree waste collected. Neighborhood depositories remain closed; Westpark, Reuse Warehouse open.
Wednesday: Tuesday’s garbage, B-Week curbside recycling, yard waste and 1st Wednesday tree waste collected. Neighborhood depositories re-open.
Thursday: Normal schedule resumes.
