South Charleston man shot in Huntington
HUNTINGTON — A South Charleston, West Virginia, man was injured in a shooting in Huntington Sunday evening, according to police.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot in the shoulder while in a vehicle in the 1900 block of Doulton Avenue after being approached by an unknown suspect, said Huntington Police Department Chief Hank Dial. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dial said the witnesses in the vehicle are not cooperating.
A K-9 officer was tracking the area, but no details on the suspect were available as of press time.
