The Michigan City 8U All-Star Game features a team made of players from Culver’s, General Insurance, Mindful Cloth & Press, and Shoe Carnival defeating a team consisting of players from Dairy Queen, Harbor Chevrolet, Holly’s, and Haas & Associates. The game ended in dramatic fashion when, down 19-10 in the final inning, the winners came back with an “awesome offensive explosion, pounding out 10 runs in the sixth to pick up the win,” according to League Director Natalie Studtman. The coaches said it was “a great performance by all involved, and some ballplayers showed that they have plenty of potential to continue their baseball careers.” All-Stars, by team, included Culver’s: Kameron Timm, Lonnie Savado and Sam Rebac; Dairy Queen: William White, Jason Coleman and Tommy Dombkowski; General: Kamir Tyler, Kaleb Garner and Connor Cook; Haas: Ryli Purcell, Gabe Parker and Nolan Derrell; Harbor: Nathan Jenks, Chase Kowalski and Brennan Cosich; Holly’s: Ryan Kavanaugh, Brody Lane and Ethan Rogers; Mindful: Emmet Siegmund, Marshall Hoener and Mike Curley; Shoe Carnival: Briana Lloyd, Larenzo Range and Damien Torres. Coaches were Stephen Curley, Mark Cook, Jeremy Torres, Khris Timm, Tom Dombkowski, Brett Parry and John Cosich.
