THREE THINGS TO WATCH

1. BC has employed an up-tempo pro-style offense with mixed results since the season opener. A quick pace could work against the Hokies’ aggressive multi-personnel defensive schemes but comes with the risk of quick three-and-outs.

2. The BC running game had its best showing last week against Central Michigan. The onus will be on tailbacks Jon Hilliman and A.J. Dillon to move the chains and keep Tech’s offense on the sidelines.

3. Virginia Tech redshirt freshman Josh Jackson is a dynamic dual threat quarterback with a style similar to Louisville’s Lamar Jackson, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.
