Connecticut trooper injured when car rammed during call
TOLLAND, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut state trooper was treated at a hospital Saturday after his vehicle was rammed as he responded to a call of a suspicious incident.
State police spokesman Josue Dorelus said several people were arrested following the 3 p.m. call. He did not immediately provide details.
“A trooper was injured during the course of the incident after one suspect intentionally struck the cruiser being operated by the trooper,” Dorelus told the New Haven Register.
Dorelus said the injured trooper, whose name was not disclosed, was alert and conscious when taken to the hospital. He was released later Saturday.
