Work on road-widening project to start in Loudon, Canterbury

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Work on a road-widening project is expected to start soon on Route 106 in Loudon and Canterbury, New Hampshire.

The work, scheduled to start Monday, is the second phase of the project spanning a 3.5-mile section of the road. The project also includes drainage and guardrail improvements, and construction of two storm water treatment ponds and paving.

Temporary lane shifts and lane closures will be required.
