ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts woman charged with draining $40,000 from the bank account of a 64-year-old Attleboro man she was caring for has agreed to plead guilty.

The plea deal was continued to Jan. 25 to allow 35-year-old Crystal Allison time to get her affairs in order. The Sun Chronicle reports she pleaded guilty to larceny and will serve two months in jail.

She will also pay about $2,400 in restitution. The victim has since died.

Allison was arrested in March after police obtained surveillance photos from Citizens Bank linking her to the missing funds. The bank had reimbursed the man, and can also file a civil suit to recoup its loss.
