NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — More than 30 years after a 3-year-old boy went missing from a Las Vegas swap meet, the child’s mother is expected to be charged in the case.

North Las Vegas police are set to speak at a news conference Monday on the 1986 disappearance of Francillon Pierre.

Court records indicate his mother, 60-year-old Amy Elizabeth Fleming, was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, last month.

She is expected to be extradited to Nevada.

Authorities say the boy vanished from the Broad Acres Swap Meet on Aug. 2, 1986 while walking with Fleming and her fiance, Lee Luster.

The couple was awaiting trial on child abuse charges when the boy disappeared.

They ended up taking a plea deal and serving five years of probation.
