Halliburton: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
HOUSTON (AP) _ Halliburton Co. (HAL) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $109 million.
The Houston-based company said it had profit of 12 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 49 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 45 cents per share.
The provider of drilling services to oil and gas operators posted revenue of $5.07 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $4.71 billion.
