Hingham Savings: Q1 Earnings Snapshot
HINGHAM, Mass. (AP) _ Hingham Institution for Savings (HIFS) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $16.4 million.
The Hingham, Massachusetts-based bank said it had earnings of $7.45 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $6.25 per share.
The community bank posted revenue of $30.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $28.1 million, exceeding Street forecasts.
Hingham Savings shares have climbed 35% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $291.68, a climb of 99% in the last 12 months.
