n Someone reportedly received a phone call from a person claiming to be with a debt consolidation company, who got inappropriate with her when she asked to be taken off their list on North C Street in Ellensburg.

n Some pigs reportedly did not have any shelter and were in a small inclosure on Red Bridge Road near Cle Elum.

n A large panel truck with three men reportedly pulled up to a residence and the landlord went down there with a shotgun on Teanaway Meadows Road.

n Four to five horses reportedly were in the road on Robinson Canyon Road near Ellensburg.

n A vehicle pulling a trailer near the Kittitas County fairgrounds reportedly started to smoke on East University Way in Ellensburg.

n Someone reportedly received a couple of IRS scam messages on North Columbia Street in Ellensburg.

n A grey and brown backpack reportedly was on the sidewalk unattended, leaning against a wall on North Wildcat Way and North Sprague street in Ellensburg.

n A strong odor was reported inside of a business and it was believed to be a skunk on South Main Street in Ellensburg.

n A rental property scam was reported on North College Place in Ellensburg.

n A customer reportedly had a bank check stolen from them in Ellensburg. No location given.

n A group of men on jet skies were reportedly riding too close to the shore and near children on Lake Cabins Road near Ronald.

n Someone’s neighbors reportedly were setting off fireworks on North Anderson Street in Ellensburg.

n A red and white cow reportedly was laying in a field and hadn’t moved for two days on Reecer Creek Road and West University Way in Ellensburg.

n A man reportedly was pulled over by law enforcement and then got out and ran on South Thorp Highway in Ellensburg.

n A vehicle prowl was reported on state Route 821 at milepost 13.

n Dogs reportedly were trapped in vehicles on North Currier Street in Ellensburg, West First Street in Cle Elum, twice on East Mountain View Avenue in Ellensburg and twice on South Water Street in Ellensburg.

n Someone’s washer and dryer reportedly were moved at their residence and a month ago a red canvas wagon was stolen on West Third Street in Cle Elum.

n Someone reportedly threatened to go get a gun and shoot 30 people on East Sixth Avenue in Ellensburg.

n A solicitor reportedly said he was fumigating for spiders in the area on East Hobert Avenue in Ellensburg.

n A bicycle reportedly was stolen on South Ruby Street in Ellensburg.

n A dark-colored bay horse was reportedly in the roadway and eating grass on Brown Road and Umptanum Road near Ellensburg.

n A collision was reported on North Stafford Avenue and West Fifth Street in Cle Elum.

n A silver SUV reportedly drove by a residence twice and then stopped and watched someone’s sons on West Creeksedge Way in Ellensburg.

n Three gun shots reportedly were heard on Canyon Road in Ellensburg.

n A man reportedly came up to someone’s residence, said he had run out of gas and would be back for his vehicle on West Dry Creek Road in Ellensburg.

n Someone reported people on their roof on West Third Avenue in Ellensburg.

n A woman reportedly was trespassing on someone’s property and the two parties got into a dispute on state Route 97 near Ellensburg.

n A Corgi was reportedly running along the road on Vantage Highway at milepost 11.

n Two down branches were reported on East 18th Avenue in Ellensburg.

n A turkey reportedly got into a transformer and made the transformer pop on Hidden Valley Road in Cle Elum.

n Bats reportedly were over a storage door on North B Street in Ellensburg.

n A brush fire was reported on Interstate 90 at milepost 43.

n An overdose was reported on Saddlerock Drive in Ellensburg.

n A brush fire was reported on Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue in Ellensburg.

n A vehicle fire was reported on Interstate 90 at milepost 60 near Easton.

n A gas leak was reported on North Water Street in Ellensburg.

n An outside fire was reported on Lower Green Canyon Road near Ellensburg.

n A rag was reportedly on fire on Interstate 82 at milepost 11 near Ellensburg.

n A smoke investigation was reported on Secret Canyon Road near Kittitas.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Aug. 1-Aug. 2 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 35-year-old Oak Harbor man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail.

n a 49-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for possession of stolen property, unlawful fire arm and trafficking in stolen property. No bail.

n A 41-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failing to appear in court on charges of possession of a controlled substance. No bail.

n A 48-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for first-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,000.

n A 35-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Washington State troopers for first-degree driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without an interlock device, failing to obey an officers and second-degree criminal trespassing. Bail $3,000.
