Kittcom received the following calls from May 30-31 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

A pipe reportedly broke and there was a lot of water on East Mountain View Avenue.

A brown medium-sized dog that reportedly was in bad shape and kept trying to climb into people’s cars on South Chestnut Street in Ellensburg.

A white Ford F250 with a trailer reportedly had the doors to the trailer pried open on East First Street in Ellensburg.

Several construction vehicles reportedly were broken into on state Route 906 on Snoqualmie Pass.

A Ford Ranger reportedly was broken into and a backpack with binoculars, clothing, a compass, rope and a mylar blanket was reportedly stolen on West First Street in Cle Elum.

Collisions were reported on North Wildcat Way, twice on North Chestnut Street in Ellensburg and West University Way.

Someone reportedly received a call from a person claiming to be with the IRS and thought it was a scam on McDonald Road in Cle Elum.

A man with a backward red hat reportedly stole a bag of jerky on Canyon Road.

Two lawnmowers reportedly were stolen over the weekend on East Tacoma Avenue in Ellensburg.

A man reportedly was snorting cocaine on a table on North Chestnut Street in Ellensburg.

A blue, purple and white Schwinn woman’s bicycle reportedly was stolen on North Alder Street in Ellensburg.

A couple reportedly were painting a mini van black and someone thought it looked suspicious on East Eighth Avenue in Ellensburg.

Someone reportedly kept track of fraudulent phone calls from people claiming to be from the IRS for a month on West 14th Avenue Ellensburg.

A woman reportedly was sitting in a turquoise Ford Explorer all day in front of a child care on North B Street in Ellensburg.

Semi trucks reportedly keep applying their brakes early in the morning on Westside Road near South Cle Elum.

The power reportedly was out on Wilson Creek Road in Ellensburg.

A man reportedly was asking for money because his van broke down and he couldn’t get back to California, but had been saying the same story to people for quite a while on East Second Street in Cle Elum.

A white pickup reportedly flipped and landed on the roadway injuring people on Tjossem Road and Berry Road near Ellensburg.

A burglary reportedly occurred and several items were broken on North Brook Lane in Ellensburg.

Someone reportedly left a fire burning in a burn pit on East 28th Avenue in Ellensburg.

Tree limbs reportedly were down over power lines on Seventh Avenue in Ellensburg.

Someone reportedly was siphoning gas from people’s cars on South Canyon Road in Ellensburg and Joyce Street in Vantage.

A fawn reportedly had been hit by a car and someone shot it to put it out of its misery on Hanson Ponds Road near Cle Elum.

A lot of vehicles speeding were reported on East Tacoma Avenue in Ellensburg.

Two people reportedly were standing in the bed of a truck while it traveled down the road on East University Way and North Anderson Street in Ellensburg.

A loud boom reportedly was heard and the power went out on North Dennis Street in Ellensburg.

Someone reportedly heard footsteps and furniture moving in an apartment that was supposed to be vacant on North Oakes Avenue in Cle Elum.

Medical calls were reported on East Patrick Avenue in Kittitas, South Canyon Road, Chestnut Street in Ellensburg, Pennsylvania Avenue in Roslyn, Wilson Creek Road in Ellensburg and North Ellington Street in Ellensburg.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from May 30–31. Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings.

A 36-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failing to comply with court orders on charges of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Bail $100,000.

A 32-year-old Tahlequah, Okla., woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failing to appear in court on charges of hit and run and leaving a child unattended. Bail 11,000.

A 40-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failing to comply with court orders on charges of fourth-degree domestic assault. Bail $25,000.

A 53-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers on charges of DUI. No bail.

A 22-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of vehicular assault. No bail.

A 19-year-old Prosser man was arrested by Washington State troopers for violating a protection order. Bail $1,000.
