As a nod to his own family upbringing, country music superstar Luke Bryan will once again honor the American farmer this fall as his tenth annual FARM TOUR is set for September 27th to October 6th. Luke will take the six-city tour from Ohio to Florida setting up stages in the fields of local farmers across those states.

Chris Janson and LANCO are set to perform at the Nashville Songwriters Awards on September 19 at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Kris Kristofferson and Bill Anderson will be honored at the annual gathering.

When Dierks Bentley heard the song “Burning Man,” he wanted to collaborate on the song with Brothers Osborne, who are also out on his Mountain High Tour. He felt it was a song the guys would record on their own with or without him.

Darius Rucker joined Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night (May 24th) to salute the troops during Fleet Week. They re-wrote the lyrics to “Only Wanna Be With You,” the huge hit from Hootie and the Blowfish in 1995. The song became “Only Wanna Thank the Troops.”

Ashley McBryde and newcomer Travis Denning will join Rodney Atkins for his annual Music City Gives Back show June 4 at Ascend Park in Music City. Big & Rich are set to headline the benefit for Nashville’s W.O. Smith Music School.

Cassadee Pope is set to play the free Paws & Play Music Festival on June 3 at Cumberland Park in Nashville. The canine-centric event is sponsored by Pedigree and CMT.
