Throughout his career, singer-songwriter Steve Earle has worn many hats. From novelist and screen and stage actor to playwright, record producer and radio host, Earle has just about done it all.

But music has always been at the forefront, and it’s what’s bringing Steve Earle and the Dukes to the Bing Crosby Theater on Oct. 1.

Over the course of his 50-year career, Earle has released 20 albums, most recently 2017’s “So You Wannabe an Outlaw,” which features collaborations with Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush and Miranda Lambert. Earle played the Bing in 2016 with Shawn Colvin in support of their record “Colvin and Earle.”
