PHOTOS: Riverfront Concert Series Continues In Wilkes-Barre
The second of three ‘Rockin’ the River’ riverfront concerts was held Friday evening on the River Common in Wilkes-Barre, and despite temperatures in the 90s, a large crowd was on hand for the event. MiZ, an Americana/roots rock artist, along with The National Reserve, a blues and rock band, performed Friday. The final riverfront concert will be held July 26 and will feature County Lines, a country and southern rock band, followed by A Proud Monkey, a Dave Matthews Band tribute act. Food trucks open at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. The Luzerne County Transportation Authority will provide free bus service after 4 p.m.
