Coroner identifies man who died in Greenville County fire
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a man found dead after a fire at his residence.
The blaze happened Wednesday in Greenville County, WYFF-TV reported.
The coroner’s office identified the man as 38-year-old Marvis Eugene Blanding. He died of thermal injuries and smoke inhalation.
A neighbor called 911 and reported the fire. Blanding was found dead inside the home while the blaze was being put out, the station reported.
