Las Vegas fire in second-floor apartment displaces 24

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas authorities say 24 people were displaced by a fire that gutted a second-floor unit in an apartment building Tuesday night.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to one unit in the eight-unit building and no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross of Southern Nevada was assisting residences displaced by the fire.

Cause of the fire was under investigation.
