Steelcase: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) _ Steelcase Inc. (SCS) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $2.1 million.

The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based company said it had profit of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 8 cents per share.

The office furniture maker posted revenue of $617.5 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in February, Steelcase said it expects revenue in the range of $650 million.

Steelcase shares have declined 36% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $13.16, a decrease of 31% in the last 12 months.
