Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health merging

On Jan. 1 Good Samaritan Society officially integrated with Sanford Health, allowing both organizations to better serve all people from birth through all stages of aging. As a part of this new family, Good Samaritan Society–Beatrice is inviting the community to celebrate this new enterprise.

The public is invited to an ice cream social on February 2, 2109 from 2-3:3 0p.m. Come enjoy frozen treats while learning more about the new span of services Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health have to offer.

Healthcare is constantly changing. We as an organization need to adapt as well. We are excited to see what opportunities this integration will provide and how it will benefit the residents we serve.

Beatrice: GSS Beatrice is a Baldrige Silver Achievement Quality Award winning post-acute nursing facility. Since 1957, GSS Beatrice has provided care to thousands of seniors in Gage County and surrounding areas. In 2012, residents and staff moved into their new building located at 401 S 22nd. The homelike building design includes four 20-bed households with all private rooms and bathrooms.
