Police handle call that came in as possible hostage situation, clear scene

Police blocked traffic to streets in the area of Tinkham Avenue and Delia Sunday morning while they responded to a call that came in as a possible hostage situation.

Officers were able to clear the scene about 11 a.m., not long after they were called and arrived to help.
