Fatal crash near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A driver has died in a single-vehicle crash near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

They said the crash was reported about 7 a.m. Sunday.

Police said a female motorist missed a turn and her vehicle went into an embankment and then struck a large rock.

The name and age of the woman weren’t immediately released.
