n The Trinity Episcopal Church will host an Easter service on Sunday at 6 a.m. The Great Vigil of Easter: Light Lessons telling the story of God’s saving deeds, renewal of Baptismal vows and the first Eucharist of Easter. Bring Bells! At 10 a.m. there will be a Easter Eucharist Service. Renew your own spirit as we proclaim together. “Christ is risen, He is risen indeed!” All in the community are welcome.

n On Sunday, the Portneuf Sangha will host a 30-minute mindfulness meditation at its Third Sunday Sit. The meditation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by chanting and discussion. Through mindfulness practices, we learn to respond to inner and outer experiences with awareness, clarity, and non-judgment. This can bring greater calmness, kindness, and self-knowledge to the meditator and others. Meditation instruction is available for anyone who wants it. Everyone is welcome, regardless of meditation experience, and chairs and cushions are available, or you may bring your own cushion. There is no charge, and donations are welcomed. n The Salvation Army will be opening their chapel doors for Sunday Worship services starting on Easter Sunday at 4 p.m. Services will be followed by a potluck and Easter egg hunt for children ages 2-12. All are welcome!

n La Voz Latina hosts Charles for Health on Sunday at 2 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m., Bill Schaff and Mike Jordan, Fort Hall Classic Tournment and Native Development, Inc, Minn.


n The Mountain View Event Center is now offering Pickleball Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The MEC has 3 pickleball courts set up so be sure to bring your friends. Cost for pickleball is just $2 per session or a 10-session punch pass can be purchased for just $15. The MEC will have paddles for rent if you are looking to see if pickleball is the sport for you. n Poky’s Got Talent will be Monday at 7 p.m. The public is invited to come and see the talent of Pocatello High School Students. All proceeds will go to benefit the Senior Class of 2017. There will be home baked concessions and raffles as well as a great family friendly night of entertainment. The cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family of five. Please plan on joining us.
