The Town of Windsor will hold a town-wide yard sale along the railroad track at 7 p.m. today. Spaces are available for $5. Barbecue chicken plates will be available at the church social hall.

The third annual Dave Day, a celebration of Dave the Potter, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon today at the Aiken County Historical Museum, 433 Newberry St. S.W. To commemorate the event, local historian and potter Gary Dexter will hold a pottery workshop. The cost is $15, and participants will get a 6-inch tile on which to inscribe one of Dave’s couplets or something of their own. The class is limited to 15 participants. The Aiken County Historical Society will hold its Spring General Meeting at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Aiken County Historical Museum, 433 Newberry St. SW. Howard Wayt, local historian and railroad enthusiast, will the guest speaker. His topic will be the excavation work in Hitchcock Woods. A reception will not be held.

The Aiken Barnwell Genealogical Society will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Aiken County Historical Museum, 433 Newberry ST. Kathy Gantt Widener, author of “Where Memories Live,” will be the guest speaker. The public is welcome.

The Aiken Civic Orchestra, under the leadership of Adam DePriest, will perform in concert at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Etherredge Center on the campus of USC Aiken, 471 University Parkway. A pre-concert show featuring string students from the Aiken Center for the Arts will be held at 3 p.m. in the lobby. The concert will feature the new steinway piano at USCA.
