What We Are Working on 6/26/2018 (VIDEO)

June 26, 2018 GMT

It’s Tuesday, June 26. Here is some of what Sun staffers and other news providers are working on for lowellsun.com and Wednesday’s edition:

Reporter Chris Lisinski, clisinski@lowellsun.com, has a story about

a Lowell man who allegedly painted swastikas and distributed racist

pamphlets in a Westford neighborhood. The suspect was arraigned in

district court in Ayer.

Reporter Alana Melanson, amelanson@lowellsun.com, has a nice feature

about a pop-up restaurant in Lowell that specializes in cuisine from a

Middle Eastern country.

Reporter Amaris Castillo, acastillo@lowellsun.com, has a story about

the Megan House Foundation, the Lowell facility that helps women

resolve substance abuse problems.

Castillo also has another story about the Tyngsboro Country Club:

its owners are planning to sell it to a national company that hopes to

build a community for 55 and older adults on-site.

Reporter Rick Sobey, rsobey@lowellsun.com, is covering the Lowell

City Council.

The Sun will also have the latest from Washington D.C., where the

nation’s top court on Tuesday upheld President Donald Trump’s ban on

travel from several mostly Muslim countries, rejecting a challenge

that it discriminated against Muslims or exceeded his authority.
