All Access Jam in downtown Ludington to benefit area accessibility fund projects
Downtown Ludington is the place to be on Saturday, April 15. The public is invited to the All Access Jam: A progressive concert for an accessible community.
The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., at several locations throughout the downtown area, including The Mitten Bar, The Blu Moon Bistro, KRAVE Frozen Yogurt & Candy Shoppe, and Timbers Bar and Grill.
Some of the area’s finest musicians have donated their time to the cause. The evening will include performances by Adam Knudsen, Chad Rushing, Mike Lenich, John Merchant, Dean Dostal, Joey Mankus, Jason Hargreaves, and Andy Thomas.
All proceeds from the event will be used to establish the “Accessibility for Mason County” Fund. Goals of the fund are: to increase accessibility for everyone regardless of ability, to construct accessible structures throughout Mason County, to promote accessibility awareness, and to create a lasting resource for future accessibility projects and events.
Future projects through the “Accessibility for Mason County” Fund include: the construction of wheelchair-accessible swings and other adaptive playground equipment, the establishment of accessibility awareness events, and the construction of other accessibility-related structures, such as ramps.
