Thomas Fandry

Thomas Michael Fandry, 60, of Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully of natural causes at his home where his death was pronounced on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016.

Tom was born July 17, 1956, in Marshfield, to Edward and Claudine (Holleran) Fandry and where he was a 1974 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and then University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and graduated from Lakeland College.

While attending college, he was employed as a bartender at the Downtowner and Browns Bar in Marshfield. After his education, he was employed at Bonded Collections, Marshfield. He then began working for Wood County Child Support, and at the present time was employed as director of Child Support Sauk County in Baraboo.

Tom was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 688 of Baraboo, Baraboo Country Club, Wisconsin Child Support Enforcement Association, and had been a volunteer at St. Vincent’s Food Pantry in Baraboo. Tom was known and loved as a “free spirit” and had many, many friends. He loved golf, football, movies and books.

He is lovingly survived by his son Nicholas of Madison; his parents Edward and Claudine Fandry of Marshfield; his sister Patricia Pancamo of Livingston, Texas; and his special friend, Jen Koenig. He is further survived by a niece Meghan (Tim) Stinson; and a nephew Jacob Heiser.

He was predeceased by his grandparents.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where an Elks Lodge of Sorrow will be at 3 p.m. Saturday.
